today, we finished reading the lion, the witch and the wardrobe by c.s. lewis, one of my all time favorites!! i especially enjoy the colored illustrations in this paperback collector's edition. one by one i will buy all the paperbacks of this edition with the illustrations by pauline baynes.

this is one of my favorite books. Everytime I revisit it, I discover and learn more from the allegory. I grew up with some paperbacks of the whole Narnia series, but I think I need to see a hardback copy to see all of the wonderful illustrations. Thank you for visiting Acorn Pies today.
